Montville Township High School senior Ananya Bhat with her second-place award from the National Yale Invitational Speech and Debate Competition. Bhat placed 2nd in the Humorous Interpretation category. Those who place in finals at the Yale Invitational get a bid to Nationals (NSDAs) at the end of the school year in June.
Some of the MTHS Forensics Team Members at dinner in New Haven, CT. Twenty-five members of the team attended the Yale Invitational national competition September 29 through October 1. MTHS senior Ananya Bhat (seated in the brown chair) placed 2nd in the Humorous Interpretation category. Bhat is also the president of the MTHS team.
