Montville VFW Memorial Post 5481 invites members of the community to attend a Veterans Day Service on Saturday, November 11th at 11:00am in the high school auditorium. This year's Honored Guest is U.S Army Ranger Lt. Col. Lisa Jaster.
Jaster is the first female reserve soldier to graduate from the Army's Ranger School. She served in the 92nd Engineer Battalion and deployed in support of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Her awards include: the Ranger Tab, Bronze Star and Meritorious Service Medal. She is a proud member of Montville VFW Post 5481 and will have a great, inspirational message.
