MTHS - Mr. Connolly's International Business Practice Firm (IBPF) class had a guest speaker on Friday: Ms. Priya Ganguli (2024). Ganguli, a freshman at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, led one of the IBPF companies (Charge Caddy) to the national competition in the presentation of its business plan.
During her visit, Priya reviewed the current IBPF company's business plan and offered tips for successfully presenting to judges at the regional competition at FDU on January 14th. The remainder of the visit was dedicated to a Q&A session about her first semester in college, focusing on what the seniors in the class can expect next fall when they head off to college.

MTHS - Dr. Kilanowski hosted the 2nd Annual G(r)eat Beowulf Art Contest with his AP students. Faculty members served as the jury, and the two works of art that received the most votes were Isabelle Mercedes and Cythnia Daili. Congratulations!

MTHS - Before break, students in our criminology classes took a "field trip" to the media center to meet with Officer Vogt and Det. Manieri and discuss the dangers - and consequences - of impaired driving. To make the lesson more impactful to students, Vogt and Manieri incorporated alcohol impairment googles into various activities to simulate the impacts of impaired driving.
