MTHS - A special thank you to Ben, Harrison and Noah Bruchhauser, as well as Sophia and Niko Kalliaras, Sofia Chioccariello and Resse McDermott for organizing, promoting, and hosting the the NMDP (National Marrow Donor Program) registry event at MTHS. NMDP finds matches for bone marrow and stem cell transplants for patients suffering from leukemia, lymphoma and other life-threatening blood diseases. Interested MTHS students had to be over the age of 18 and register online before getting the inside of their cheek swabbed. The MTHS community is proud to support this event and the student leaders who facilitated the drive.

MTHS - Students in Mrs. Reinknecht's chemistry class conducted double replacement reactions where two solutions will combine to potentially form a precipitate. If students observed the formation of a precipitate, they were able to determine the formula of the product. Students have learned how to write formulas and balanced equations and are now putting all of their skills together to predict products in chemical reactions.
