MTHS - Honors Biology students work on a DNA extraction of their own cheek cells. Lab periods like this are so valuable—they give our science teachers the chance to extend their lessons and let students put their skills to the test. Students not only learn scientific concepts, but also how to apply them in real-world scenarios.
