Eid Al Fitr - May this day bring peace and happiness to all. SCHOOLS CLOSED TODAY: Monday, March 31, 2025! Classes resume Tuesday, April 1

MTHS - Our AP Government and Politics students had an unforgettable trip to Philadelphia, diving deep into the heart of American history!
They visited: Independence Hall - where the Declaration of Independence was signed. Congress Hall - a key site in the early history of the U.S. government. The Liberty Bell - a symbol of freedom and independence. Declaration House - where Thomas Jefferson drafted the Declaration of Independence and Christ Church Burial Ground - honoring the life of Benjamin Franklin.
The day wrapped up at the National Constitution Center, where students viewed the multimedia production “Freedom Rising” — where the creation of the Constitution comes to life from its creation during the 1787 Constitutional Convention to the amendments and court decisions that continue to make the Constitution “the most powerful vision of human freedom ever expressed."
A big thank you to Mr. Riotto and the other teacher chaperones who planned the trip and accompanied the students.

MTHS - Members of the literary magazine, The Muse, and students in Art Club travelled to the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University today.

MTHS - Congratulations to Natalia Dudek, Scipio Han, and Logan Fitzpatrick for their excellent presentations at the Terra North Jersey STEM Fair Topic Presentation this past Sunday! These students shared their year-long research from the Science Design and Research class. Natalia presented on "Quasars and Their Role in Regulating Star Formation and Shaping Early Galactic Evolution." Scipio explored "The Science of AI and Applications to Problem Solving," and Logan presented on an "AI Walking Cane Helps Visually Impaired." You can see their experimental research at the high school Science Symposium on May 28th.

MTHS - On Friday, Key Club hosted their annual Volleyball Marathon (VBM). Many teams of Heroes & Villains competed and Gru and the Minions secured the win!

MTHS - Our ACCE students created birthday kits for the Montville Kiwanis Food Pantry. These kits include cake mix, icing, candles, decorations and birthday cards - all the fixings for a joyful celebration.
Thank you to Mrs. Nord and her students for their dedication to making a difference and having a positive impact on the community!

MTHS - Last week, some of our students had an amazing opportunity to be trained by Dr. Gelber and Mr. Conroy in the Junior Achievement High School Heroes program. This initiative allows high school students to volunteer as role models and educators, teaching essential lessons on financial literacy, college and career readiness, and entrepreneurship to the K-5 students at Hilldale!
Our student heroes will be working with K-5th graders at Hilldale, inspiring the next generation with lessons that will set them up for success! 🌟
