HONUS & ME, written by Dan Gutman, is the Robert R. Lazar Middle School's Fall Play. Performances will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 24 and 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lazar Middle School Stage, 123 Changebridge Road in Montville, New Jersey.
Directed by music teacher Jordan Green, HONUS & ME is the story of a young baseball fan, Joey Stoshak, who lives for baseball. He knows everything there is to know about the game–except how to play well. His specialty is striking out. “Stosh” feels like a real loser–until he comes across a little piece of cardboard in his neighbor’s attic. He can hardly believe his eyes. He has stumbled upon a T-206 Honus Wagner–the most valuable baseball card in the world. And he is about to find out that it’s worth a lot more than money.
This is an evening of family fun! Nearly three dozen students from grades six through eight are the cast and crew of this delightful evening of theater.
Performances are Thursday and Friday, October 24 and 25 on the Lazar Stage. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students. All performances are FREE to STAFF. Tickets available at the door.
