MTHS - Graduation Week is here and the setup has commenced! A special thank you to Mr. Nadzak and our *amazing* custodial and maintenance teams for their attention to detail and ensuring that we have a great night on Thursday.
Happy Father's Day! Enjoy the Day!
MTHS - Can you believe it!? Today marks the start of finals! It's hard to believe that there are only four more school days left before the start of summer break. But, the students and staff at MTHS are still hard at work! Today, Mr. Queen's chemistry students worked in lab groups to determine the pH of household substances.
MTHS - Today we celebrate our graduating seniors with the Senior Picnic! This morning, students received their yearbooks, walked down to the Community Center and fields, played games and enjoyed food from various vendors. The students will receive their caps and gowns at dismissal from the picnic.
Thank you to the high school administration, class advisors, and faculty chaperones for their help in making today a special day for the Class of 2024!
MTHS - On Monday, Montville VFW Post 5481 hosted its annual luncheon in support and congratulations to our four MTHS seniors entering military service. Commander Ken Hanzl, Warren Congleton, Jim Sommer, Tom Mazzaccaro and Carl DeBacco spoke to the students for over an hour about life and sharing their personal experiences in the military.
Our students dedicating themselves to service include: Kyle Liu - United States Marine Corps, Frenchely Godet-Desmarais - United States Air Force, and Marlon and Gabriela Soeiro - Army National Guard.
We would like to thanks the Montville VFW Post 5481 for their service and commitment to the greater Montville Township community.
MTHS - The Senior Class Officers worked with administration to to hold to first "Senior Sunset" in the amphitheater on Monday, June 10th. This event offered the students a chance to socialize, play backyard lawn games and bond as a class. At 8:30pm, the class officers showed the premiere of a montage they have been working on for several months featuring a compilation of videos and pictures of the Class of 2024 since their earliest days in Montville Township Public Schools. An extra special thank you to Cristina Ryduchowki for all of her hard work in putting together the video!
MTHS - The Class of 2024 is leaving their mark! Today and tomorrow, seniors can participate in the annual National Honor Society fundraiser and place their handprint in the stairwell off the rotunda. These handprints will be a constant reminder of our students who graduate in a few short days!

MTHS - For their last AP Statistics project, students randomly selected a topic. The topic was broad and students needed to find statistics within the topic of interest to them using research from databases and reliable sources. Additionally, all of the units covered in the AP curriculum (univariate and bivariate statistics, methods of data collection and types of bias, probability, sampling distributions and inferences of proportions, means, categorical data and linear regression) needed to be included in the presentation.
The student presentations will be in the media center and judged by faculty members in the coming days!
students display their final presentations in the media center
MTHS - Seniors in Mrs. Pierce's English class assembled the final versions of their year long writing project - an ABC book that required students to reflect on the past, present, and future versions of themselves. The final books the students created are filled with personal insights and observations, and this will be a keepsake that they will treasure years after they graduate from MTHS.
MTHS - Students use their study hall period to work on a final statistics project.
MTHS - The latest and greatest from some of our art students!
MTHS - Former MTHS student, Alana Gomez-Solis (2018), visited Mrs. Sheehan's Marketing II Honors classes to talk about her marketing job with Samsung. It is wonderful to bring in graduate mentors for our current students!
