35 Years of Service: Kathleen Zaleski, Valley View; Debra Jarvie, Woodmont; and Naomi McCloskey, MTHS, were honored for 35 Years of Service to the Montville Township Public Schools district. At the start of the 2023-2024 school year the three were among the 58 teachers who were honored by Montville Township Public Schools for 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 Years of Service.

Dr. Thomas A. Gorman is the Superintendent of the Montville Township Public Schools in Montville Township, New Jersey. The district is a pre-k through grade 12 district in Morris County, NJ.  Richard “Rick” Crescente, Jr., a history teacher at Robert R. Lazar Middle School and ​​Montville Township VFW Post Commander Ken Hanzl. Crescente received the New Jersey Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary [VFW] Middle School Teacher of the Year award on June 17, 2023.

Montville Board of Education member Dr. Karen Cortellino Elected as President of the New Jersey School Boards Association during the organization’s semiannual Delegate Assembly. The meeting took place at the Mercer County Community College Conference Center in West Windsor on Saturday, May 13.
Five Montville Township High School students received recognition for excellence in Academics, Athletics, Arts, Community Service and Leadership at a recent Montville Township Board of Education Meeting. The five were named Third Quarter ShopRite Stars for the 2022-2023 school year. They have been honored both by Sunrise ShopRite in Parsippany, and MTHS. The five 3rd Quarter ShopRite STARS are: Karl Monaco, Leadership; Sarina Dang, Community Service; Grace Kowalski, Athletics; Laura Justnes, Arts; and Gabriella Giudice, Academics.
